1st Stage Regulator (HCR-4)
Primary high pressure inlet regulator for industrial flow
Technical Description
The 1st stage regulator, also known as a high-pressure regulator, connects directly to the LPG tank and reduces the tank’s high pressure to a manageable level for further regulation or direct use in industrial systems.
This step is critical for:
Safety: Prevents overpressure that could cause leaks or hazardous failures
Efficiency: Maintains steady gas flow, minimizing fluctuations and ensuring optimal appliance performance
Longevity: Reduces strain on downstream components, prolonging system life and lowering maintenance costs
Applications
1st stage regulators are widely used in industrial and commercial operations where high heat output or large-scale gas consumption is required, such as:
Heat treating and furnaces
Road construction and asphalt heating
Grain drying and boilers
Large-scale commercial kitchens and industrial plants
They are available in high-flow capacity models suitable for demanding applications and harsh environments, often built with corrosion-resistant materials and integrated safety relief valves
